It kind of annoys me when people will say “I hate it when folks act like they know everything about the Bible” and then IN THE SAME BREATH they say “The entire Bible is open to interpretation.”
Really? The whole thing? And why do you get to decide that? It’s so hypocritical to the entire Bible is open to interpretation as if you know everything there it to know about the Bible.
And also, how would you know? Have you read it? I’m assuming you haven’t because you made a statement like that in the first place. (Parden moi, but “Thou shall not murder” seems pretty straight forward.)
It’s good to know no one knows everything about the Bible,
except you.
